Microsoft has announced the Surface Laptop Ultra, which is equipped with top-of-the-line specifications to compete with the latest laptops currently on the market.
Microsoft noted that the device is capable of processing artificial intelligence algorithms internally without the need for cloud services, and is distinguished from previous generations of Surface computers by its ease of maintenance, including replacing the internal SSD storage drive.
The device relies on NVIDIA RTX Spark computing, which combines an energy-efficient processor and a graphics accelerator with up to one petaflop of performance. To quickly handle complex tasks without the need for cloud services, it is equipped with 128 gigabytes of RAM.
The designers paid great attention to the cooling system in this computer, as Microsoft indicates that it provides 2.5 times greater cooling capacity compared to the cooling system of the 15-inch Surface computer.
The device is equipped with a PixelSense Ultra touchscreen with a density of 262 pixels/inch, a brightness of up to 2000 nits, supported by HDR technology, and a backlit keyboard.
The computer also features USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI, SD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, and will be available in two main colors: dark gray and silver.
