Yilmaz explained in a post on the Turkish platform "In Social", in response to the Israeli Prime Minister's statements against President Erdogan, that Netanyahu, who is on trial before an international court on charges of genocide and is setting fire to the region and targeting regional and international stability, cannot cover up his crimes and sins with baseless accusations and slander against President Erdogan.
He continued: "Netanyahu's words are null and void in our view and in the conscience of humanity," stressing that Türkiye will continue to defend the law, diplomacy, peace and the oppressed in the region and at the international level.
Since the start of the Israeli war of extermination on Gaza on October 8, 2023, about 73,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 173,000 others have been injured, in addition to widespread destruction affecting 90% of the civilian infrastructure in the sector.
