Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, said on Thursday that northern Israel will not be safe as long as Lebanese villages are being bombed and residents are being killed.
The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, affirmed on Thursday that “the result of the absurd, humiliating and shameful direct negotiations for Lebanon is rejected in its entirety by broad segments of the Lebanese people.”
Lebanon’s Al-Manar TV quoted Sheikh Naim Qassem as saying in a press statement today: “The result of the absurd, humiliating and shameful direct negotiations for Lebanon, which are rejected in their entirety by broad segments of the Lebanese people, is the Washington Declaration, which outlines the basic principles that America and Israel see as subjecting Lebanon to the Greater Israel project.”
Sheikh Naim Qassem expressed his gratitude to Iran, saying that it “helps us to regain our land and our right in the face of Israeli-American aggression, despite its major confrontations, and is working to establish a comprehensive ceasefire in Lebanon as part of stopping the aggression against Iran.”
