Speer has announced the launch of its new "NEO" payment terminal, equipped with built-in artificial intelligence, which the company describes as the first of its kind in the world.

The "NEO" terminal was first unveiled on June 4, 2026, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. This innovation combines artificial intelligence, biometrics, local computing, and digital services, making the payment process more interactive, seamless, and personalized between users and businesses.

The core concept behind "NEO" is adapting technology to human needs. The station's screen automatically tilts to suit the user's viewing angle, and its biometric recognition system works efficiently in various lighting conditions. For identity verification, the station uses a ToF camera equipped with 3D facial mapping technology, a wide viewing angle, and adaptive lighting.

The device comes equipped with an octa-core processor powered by an NPU chip, ensuring a fast and stable user interface. The screen resolution has also increased by 60% compared to the previous generation of devices.

Neo supports all modern payment methods, including bank cards, smartphones, QR codes, and biometrics. It also offers additional digital services such as Pay in Limits (BNPL), tips, and access to the Spasibo rewards program.

According to the company, using BNPL systems can increase the average bill value by between 20% and 40%, and may exceed 50% in some categories, with testing of AI recommendation models capable of suggesting timely installment options based on customer behavior.

Speer points out that "NEO" is not just a payment terminal, but a new generation of payment systems that adapt to the user, integrating artificial intelligence, biometrics, and digital services, making the payment process almost imperceptible. It is also a tool for businesses to increase sales and improve customer experience.

A company spokesperson confirmed that these technologies could become a new standard for payment systems infrastructure in the coming years.
