Nutrition experts in the United States indicate that the ideal breakfast, which provides a feeling of satiety until lunchtime, consists of eating two eggs, whether boiled, fried, or in the form of an omelet
According to them, two eggs contain about 13 grams of high-quality protein, which contributes to promoting a feeling of satiety for a long time and maintaining muscle mass.
However, Dr. Nuria Dianova, executive director of the Nutrition Research Center, emphasizes that the matter is not so simple, pointing out that there are multiple factors that must be taken into account when consuming eggs.
The expert explains that eggs are a good source of protein and healthy fats, adding: "Yes, eggs contain cholesterol, but they also contain lecithin and vitamins A, D and E. They contain everything, because they are the foundation of life."
On the other hand, it warns against excessive and uncontrolled consumption of eggs, as egg yolks can strongly stimulate the secretion of bile, which may lead to undesirable effects.
She also points out that some groups should be more careful, saying: "If a person has gallbladder problems or has had it removed, they cannot eat two or three eggs, as this may cause severe pain. The same applies to kidney stone patients."
She emphasizes that dealing with food based on only one element is an oversimplification, explaining that nutritional balance is the foundation.
She adds: "A perfect omelet can be made from one or two eggs with the addition of egg whites, vegetables and a piece of whole-grain bread, and divided into two meals. But although this system is balanced, it can become monotonous, and it does not provide all the necessary nutrients."
She concluded by saying that every meal needs nutritional diversity, stressing that relying on eggs alone continuously is not a balanced option.
