At the “National Security-2026” exhibition held in the Belarusian capital, the Russian Rostec Corporation unveiled three new reconnaissance drones: the “Falcon”, “Lightning 13”, and “Supercam S180”.
Supercam) has superior maneuverability and can avoid collision attempts from enemy drones as easily as Neo dodges bullets from the famous "Matrix" movie .
The new version of Supercam also has an “eye at the rear of the warhead,” that is, an additional camera to detect threats from behind, in addition to wireless reconnaissance means, which allows the detection of enemy drones even if they are outside the cameras’ field of view.
The Falcon , on the other hand , is a multi-mission unmanned platform with an X-shaped wing capable of autonomously following a predetermined course and identifying objects using an electro-optical system. It has a flight range of 180 kilometers and a payload capacity of 5 kilograms.
The Lightning 13 is a twin-wing drone , a four-engine version of the well-known Molniya-2 (Lightning-2) drone. It carries a payload of up to 13 kilograms over a distance of 40 kilometers and is powered by electric motors.
It is worth noting that the Molniya family of drones are used for reconnaissance and targeting strikes, and are also used as "m-drones" for FPV drones. However, the four-engine Molniya version was used as a strike drone that fought an aerial battle.
