The Indonesian women's national team is aiming for victory when they face Singapore in the first match of the Garuda Championship Series in June 2026 at Arcamanik Stadium, Bandung.
Indonesian women's national team coach Satoru Mochizuki said the team has been preparing since early May, so the players are expected to be ready for the international match.
"We hope that international competition opportunities like this will provide the players with experience and enable them to develop even further," Mochizuki said in Bandung.
Although the match will take place without spectators, he believes this will not reduce the team's focus on performing optimally.
According to him, the presence of spectators is indeed a crucial factor in international matches. However, the absence of spectators can also allow the players to perform more freely without excessive pressure.
