Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that his country’s security does not begin in Hatay province, but rather in Aleppo, Damascus and Beirut, stressing that Turkey will not allow the illusions of a “promised land”.

This came in a speech on Wednesday during a meeting of the Justice and Development Party's parliamentary bloc in the Turkish parliament.

Erdogan said: “We are well aware of the ultimate goal of the ‘promised land’ delusions, and God willing, we will never allow this.”

He explained that Turkey’s security does not begin in Hatay province in southern Turkey, but rather in Aleppo, Damascus and Beirut, adding: “We will not allow a fait accompli in our brotherly countries and we will not overlook any attacks targeting them.”

He continued: “If Israel’s bullying is not stopped, the price will not be paid by the region alone, but by all of humanity.”

He pointed out that “stopping Israel is a shared humanitarian responsibility, and preventing the repetition of historical tragedies is a duty for everyone.”

The Turkish president warned against engaging in adventures that serve the Zionist massacre network.

He continued: “If the rights of Türkiye and the Turkish Cypriots in the Eastern Mediterranean are violated, our response will be clear and harsh.”

The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated on Wednesday that the lies employed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a self-proclaimed expert on genocide, to conceal the truth cannot absolve him of responsibility for the serious crimes he has committed.
In a statement, the ministry explained that the baseless, provocative, and fabricated accusations leveled against President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan are merely an attempt by Netanyahu and his associates to mislead international public opinion. The statement added
, "The lies used by Netanyahu, a self-proclaimed expert on genocide, to cover up the facts cannot conceal his responsibility for the serious crimes he has committed."
The Turkish Foreign Ministry further stated that Netanyahu, a self-proclaimed expert on genocide, cannot hide his responsibility for the grave crimes he has committed with the lies he resorts to in an attempt to conceal the truth.
It affirmed that Turkey will continue to express the facts concerning Netanyahu and his associates in the clearest terms and will work resolutely to ensure they are held accountable before international courts for their actions that disregard international law and human values.
