A Palestinian mother, father, and their four children were killed early Tuesday morning in an Israeli airstrike that targeted their home in the center of Gaza City, while Israeli vehicles advanced into the eastern part of Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip.
This comes as part of the daily Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect in the Gaza Strip since October 10, 2025.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that its crews recovered the bodies of six Palestinians, a mother, a father and their four children, as a result of the bombing of a residential apartment in the Al-Samar area of Gaza City.
A medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital reported the arrival of the bodies of Firas Al-Masri, his wife Salsabeel Muhammad Al-Masri (34 years old), and their children: Naeem Firas Al-Masri (13 years old), and his sisters Ferial (11 years old), Salma (9 years old), and Amira (6 years old).
The source noted that “the bodies of the martyrs arrived at the hospital charred.”
For its part, the Civil Defense Directorate in Gaza said that its crews extinguished a large fire in the home of the Al-Masri family as a result of the Israeli raid that targeted it.
In a related context, Israeli artillery shelled areas southeast of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City, amid heavy gunfire from military vehicles stationed around the area.
In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli vehicles entered the “Abu Gharaba” area, east of Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip.
Local sources and eyewitnesses reported that a number of tanks, accompanied by a military bulldozer, advanced approximately 100 meters amidst heavy gunfire and carried out land-clearing operations before withdrawing several hours later.
The sources stated that the aforementioned area witnessed, a few days ago, an expansion of the areas under the control of the Israeli army, as the concrete blocks that symbolize what is known as the “yellow line” were moved westward.
