Asian Boxing's confidence validates Indonesian boxing

The Chairman of the Indonesian Boxing Association , Ray Zulham Farras Nugraha, said that being trusted to host the 2026 Asian Boxing U19 & U23 Boxing Championships is a major validation for Perbati and the Indonesian boxing ecosystem.

"This trust from Asian Boxing is a major validation for Perbati and our sports ecosystem. We are committed not only to hosting a technically competitive tournament but also to upholding the highest standards of transparency and sportsmanship under the auspices of World Boxing and Asian Boxing," Ray said in an official statement.

Indonesia will hold the championship. The tournament is scheduled to bring together hundreds of the best young boxers from various Asian countries in the U19 and U23 age groups.

For Perbati, Indonesia's selection as host is not only related to the organization of an international event, but also an opportunity to demonstrate a new direction for national boxing development and governance.

This championship will utilize the latest global standards from World Boxing, including technical aspects of the matches, the judging system, and competition governance. The implementation of these standards is expected to provide more transparent, fair, and competitive competition.
