The Bali Bureau of the National Sports Agency is holding a 2026 World Cup-themed Zumba event to strengthen sports tourism on the Island of the Gods.
"We also want to support a healthy lifestyle for the community," said Ardi Irawan, Head of the Bali Bureau of Perum LKBN in Nusa Dua, Badung Regency, Bali, on Sunday.
The body movement event, which combines energetic dance moves and cardio exercises, is free for the public and is held at the Peninsula Island tourist area, Nusa Dua, in collaboration with the state-owned company PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia or ITDC.
More than 150 participants took part in Zumba guided by globally licensed instructor.
For about 45 minutes of exercise, Zumba lovers are invited to sweat healthily while enjoying the green views and coast of Nusa Dua.
Accompanied by background music with Latin, Middle Eastern, Indonesian and dangdut rhythms, the enthusiasm of Zumba participants increases.
There are also free health checks for the public and participants during the Zumba workout.
The presence of outdoor Zumba with a special World Cup theme was enthusiastically welcomed by participants because it was a form of exercise and increased happy energy.
"I'm really happy, especially since this is an outdoor Zumba event. The views are beautiful, and I hope it continues because it will also make more friends," said one of the participants, Made Sukarmi.
