The Belgian national team players are aware of the tough challenges they will face when they meet Spain in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup at SoFi Stadium, Inglewood.
Quoted from the official FIFA website, Friday, this view was expressed by two Belgian players, namely striker Charles De Ketelaere and midfielder Nicholas Raskin.
De Ketelaere and Raskin agreed that Spain is a formidable team, so Belgium must prepare their best to overcome La Roja's threat.
De Ketelaere hopes Belgium can put on a strong performance, similar to the one they did when they eliminated the host nation, the United States, 4-2 in the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup.
"It's clear that Spain is an extraordinary team, with players who play for the best clubs in the world. If we want to achieve anything, we have to be at our best, just like we were against the United States," said De Ketelaere.
