Zamalek Club announced that it had received an official notification from the Egyptian Football Association stating that the complaint of Al-Ahly star Ahmed Mostafa Zizo against the White Castle had been dismissed.
Zamalek Club said in an official statement: "The club received today, Wednesday, an official letter from the Egyptian Football Association, which includes the decision of the Players' Affairs Committee regarding the complaint submitted by Ahmed Mustafa "Zizo", the team's former player, against the White Castle.
The Egyptian Football Association stated in its letter that the Players' Affairs Committee decided to dismiss Zizo's complaint against the White Castle.
The decision of the Players' Affairs Committee comes after studying the complaint and the documents submitted by both parties, before the committee decided to close it, according to what was stated in the letter from the Federation sent to the club.
Zizo asked Zamalek to pay him an amount estimated at 60 million Egyptian pounds after his departure from the club, which he said were outstanding dues from his time representing the club.
Zamalek club rejected the player's demands, confirming that he had received his dues before escalating the matter to the Football Association.
The legal dispute between the two parties is expected to continue, as those close to the player consider the committee's decision a major shock.
