Coordinating Minister Yusril asks state officials to uphold the supremacy of law

Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra has asked state officials to make the supremacy of law their primary guideline in governing and providing services to the public.

"We have agreed that our country is a nation based on law, not power. Law without power is meaningless, but power without law can turn into tyranny and arbitrariness," Yusril said during a working visit to the Institute of Domestic Governance.

Yusril said that all actions of state administrators must be based on law because Indonesia is a country based on law, not a country that prioritizes power.

This message was conveyed to IPDN cadets as prospective state apparatus to understand the responsibility in running the government and serving the community.
