Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid stated that the success of digitalizing social assistance is not only determined by technological readiness, but also depends on data quality, good governance, and the community's digital literacy as its foundation.
According to him, collaboration between the central and regional governments is necessary to ensure accurate, safe, and targeted distribution of digital social assistance.
"It's not just technology and the SPLP that's sufficient. Clarity of roles, legal basis, business processes, and coordination across agencies, and later also with local governments, will be crucial," said Meutya Hafid in a statement confirmed.
This was also conveyed by Meutya at the Coordination and Monitoring Meeting for the Implementation of the Expansion of the Digitalization Piloting of Social Assistance in 43 districts and cities at the Ministry of Home Affairs Office
