The Moroccan national team is looking to continue its steady progress in the 2026 World Cup when it meets its Canadian counterpart, the host country, on Saturday, in what appears to be a tough match for the round of sixteen.

The Atlas Lions qualified for the round of 16 after winning on penalties against the Netherlands (3-2), having reached the round of 32 when they finished second in Group C behind Brazil.

Canada, on the other hand, qualified with a late goal against South Africa (1-0) after also finishing second in Group B, behind Switzerland

 match between Morocco and Canada will be held at NRG Stadium in Houston, USA, starting at 8 pm Mecca time. This is the second encounter between the two teams in the history of the World Cup.

BEIN SPORTS will broadcast the highly anticipated match between Morocco and Canada in the round of 16 on two channels with different commentary.

The match will be broadcast on BEIN SPORTS MAX 1 with commentary by Moroccan commentator Jawad Badah and also on BEIN SPORTS MAX 3.

The match will also be broadcast on the Moroccan sports channel (Morocco 3) via terrestrial broadcast (TNT) for viewers within the Kingdom of Morocco.
