Desak/Rajiah win bronze in women's speed relay in Krakow

 



  Indonesian pair Made Rita Kusuma Dewi/Rajiah Sallsabillah added to their medal tally after winning bronze in the women's speed relay at the 2026 World Climbing Series Krakow in Poland.

As reported on the official World Climbing website, Desak/Rajiah, who competed as INA 1, secured a podium finish after defeating Spanish representatives Leslie Adriana Romero Perez/Carrla Martinez Vidal in the bronze medal match.

The Indonesian pair recorded a time of 13.14 seconds, faster than the Spanish pair who recorded 13.52 seconds in the bronze medal race.

The gold medal in the women's speed relay was won by Chinese representatives 1 Yefei Zhoe/Lijuan Deng after defeating Polish representatives 2 Aleksandra Kalucka/Natalia Kalucka in the final.

The Chinese pair finished fastest with a time of 12.89 seconds, while the Polish pair had to settle for silver with a time of 14.00 seconds.

Meanwhile, another Indonesian pair (INA 2) represented by Kadek Adi Asih/Berthdigna Devi Surya Kusuma had to be satisfied with 20th place after a fall.

Today's result completes Indonesia's strong showing in the Krakow Series. Earlier, Desak Made Rita Kusuma Dewi also won gold in the women's individual speed event, defeating Natalia Kalucka of Poland with a time of 6.54 seconds to 6.62 seconds.

In the men's individual event, Indonesia also took home bronze through Raharjati Nursamsa who recorded a time of 4.79 seconds in the medal round.

Then Antasyafi Robby Al Hilmi and Desak Made also won silver in the mixed relay event.

The 2026 World Climbing Series Krakow will take place from July 3-5 in Krakow, Poland, featuring speed and speed relay events.
