Player Dominikus Dion is confirmed to remain with BRI Super League-promoted club PSS Sleman for the 2026/2027 season.
Quoted from the club's official website, Thursday, PT Putra Sleman Sembada Director Yoni Arseto said that Dominikus Dion's success in returning to the main team squad for the upcoming season
He said this was a clear indication that the coaching system implemented by PSS was capable of producing quality players who were ready to compete at the highest level.
"Dominikus Dion is a testament to our commitment to developing young talent. Coming from the PSS Development Center, Dion has continued to develop and become part of the main squad," said Yoni.
Yoni also gave advice to Dominikus Dion not to be easily satisfied with his current achievements.
According to him, young players who continue to develop their abilities and undergo a continuous coaching process have the opportunity to become quality players and the backbone of PSS Sleman in the future.
"As a midfielder, he is expected to continue honing his skills and make an important contribution to Super Elja," said Yoni.
"We believe that a continuous coaching process will produce players capable of becoming the backbone of the club in the future," he said.
In the 2025/2026 Pegadaian Championship season, Dominikus Dion appeared in 26 matches, contributing two goals and three assists for a total of 2,207 minutes of playing time.
Dominikus Dion has been a product of the PSS Sleman academy since 2019 and has played in various age groups before breaking into the first team in 2023.
