The doctor advises caution when consuming corn, as 100 grams contain approximately 120 calories. Like potatoes, it is also high in starch, which contributes to weight gain. Bananas are considered problematic in this regard. However, it's important to know that unripe bananas contain resistant starch, meaning they are absorbed slowly and do not cause a sudden spike in blood sugar levels.
