Indonesia was runner-up of the 2026 SEA V Cup, narrowly losing 2-3 to Cambodia

The Indonesian men's national volleyball team had to be satisfied with being runners-up in the 2026 SEA V Cup after being beaten by Cambodia 2-3 (23-25, 26-28, 25-23, 25-22, 11-15) in the final at Candon City Arena, Philippines, Sunday.

Starting the first set, Cambodia immediately appeared aggressive and made Indonesia experience a deadlock in being able to escape the pressure.

The Red and White team actually managed to rally towards the end of the first set, narrowing the score gap. However, Cambodia maintained its lead and closed the opening set with a 25-23 victory.

Entering the second set, Indonesia played much more effectively than before. Reidal Toiran's team was able to rack up point after point.

However, Cambodia, which had been able to play Indonesia's open game from the start, was able to win 28-26.

Despite being two sets down, Indonesia responded positively. The Red and White team played much more calmly in the third set, picking up points and not allowing Cambodia to control the tempo of the game.

Indonesia was finally able to secure the third set with a 25-23 victory.
