Indonesian skateboarders aim for three medals at the 2026 Asian Games

The Indonesian national skateboarding team is aiming for three medals at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, consisting of one gold, one silver, and one bronze, as the athletes' performance improves during preparations for the largest sporting event in Asia.

This was conveyed by the Indonesian Chef de Mission  for the 2026 Asian Games, Todotua Pasaribu, during his first visit to a number of sports training centers in Bali.

"The target is one gold, one silver, and one bronze. Based on our predictions, we already secured one gold and one silver medal from Basral and Malana during the SEA Games. We've also seen quite good progress in Basral and Malana's training," Todotua said.

Indonesian skateboarding head coach Anthony Adam Caya predicts that Thailand's 2025 SEA Games men's street gold medalist, Basral Graito, has the opportunity to win a gold medal, while women's street bronze medalist I Wayan Ni Wayan Malana Fairbrother is projected to win a bronze medal.

"We are quite confident, God willing, we predict Basral will win gold, Malana bronze, and Jason in the park category will win silver," said Anthony.
