AI research and development company OpenAI has officially entered the hardware business by launching Codex Micro, a smart keypad designed to make it easier for developers to control artificial intelligence (AI) agents on the Codex platform.
the device was developed in collaboration with mechanical keyboard manufacturer Work Louder and has been opened for pre-orders.
The Codex Micro is a programmable macro keypad that speeds up user interaction with AI agents on the Codex platform. It features 13 mechanical keys, including six Agent Keys that display the AI agent's status through color indicators.
