The Oppo Reno16 series devices consisting of the Oppo Reno16 Pro, Oppo Reno16 5G, and Oppo Reno16 F were launched in the Indonesian market with prices starting from IDR 7.9 million.
All three phone models come with improved design, camera performance, and artificial intelligence capabilities as well as support for the ColorOS 16 operating system.
"In terms of design, we have made many improvements , offering a 3D design. We are also offering the AI Snap Key , which is available for the first time on the Reno variant, because previously it was only available on the Find," said Oppo Indonesia Product Manager Deni Setiawan at the phone's launch event.
"We also use aerospace-grade aluminum frames, so we've really made significant design improvements ," he said.
Oppo Reno16 Pro, Oppo Reno16 5G, and Oppo Reno16 F use the 3D Planet design.
According to the company, the design cost of this new series of phones was three times greater than the previous generation.
Artificial intelligence support on the Oppo Reno16 series includes the AI Remix Collage or AI Collage Mix feature, which allows users to get creative with photos produced by the camera without additional applications.
Oppo Reno16 Pro 5G
The Oppo Reno16 Pro, which is the highest variant of this series, has a 6.3-inch screen with an AMOLED panel and a 144 Hz refresh rate.
The phone sold in Indonesia uses the MediaTek 8550 Super, which has 8 cores . This chip's performance is supported by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
There are three cameras on the back, consisting of a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera , and a 50 MP telephoto camera.
The front camera is only one and measures 50MP, but has a 100-degree angle so it has wide coverage.
The Oppo Reno16 Pro is equipped with a 6,700mAh battery and supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging using a cable.
In the Indonesian market, this phone is available in Pop White and Starlight Black colors .
