Persib Bandung has officially signed Argentine striker Mariano Peralta to strengthen the squad for the 2026/2027 season after signing a two-year contract until 2028.
PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat Deputy CEO Adhitia Putra Herawan said Peralta's recruitment was the result of an evaluation and recommendation from the coaching team, which had consistently monitored his performance, particularly during his appearances in the Super League last season.
"The Persib coaching team needs an attacking player with high mobility, speed, and the ability to effectively convert chances into goals. Based on the evaluation, Mariano Peralta has the qualities that fit the team's needs," said Adhitia in Bandung on Sunday.
According to him, the presence of the 28-year-old player is expected to provide a new dimension to the attack line and add depth to the Persib squad which will face domestic and Asian competitions in the upcoming season.
