  Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric are both expected to start when Portugal face Croatia in the round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup at Toronto Stadium, Canada, on Friday at 06.00 WIB.

The duel between the two world football legends was the main highlight in the match which brought together two of Europe's top teams.

Based on the line-up released by FIFA, Portugal coach Roberto Martinez continues to rely on Ronaldo as captain and spearhead in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

The 41-year-old striker will be supported by Rafael Leao and Pedro Neto on the wings, while Bruno Fernandes will act as the driving force of the attack.

In midfield, Joao Neves and Vitinha remain key to maintaining Portugal's balance. Meanwhile, the back line consists of Ruben Dias, Renato Veiga, Joao Cancelo, and Nuno Mendes, who will guard goalkeeper Diogo Costa.
