Rehan/Gloria rediscover their rhythm at the 2026 China Open

Indonesian mixed doubles pair Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto and Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja slowly regained their rhythm after a three-game match in the first round of the 2026 China Open.

Rehan/Gloria defeated Scottish pair Alexander Dunn/Julie Macpherson with a score of 22-20, 23-25, 21-14 in the round of 32 in Changzhou, China, Tuesday.

"Today felt really good after not playing for over a month, so I felt a bit out of sorts, so throughout the match, I tried to pick myself up and regain my game feel. Thank God, I was able to overcome the pressure," Gloria said in an official PBSI statement after the match.

Rehan/Gloria had to work hard from the first game because they were not yet fully able to read the field conditions which had quite a striking difference in wind direction.
