Revie Lumoindong appeared dominant towards the Jaya Raya JIGP quarter-finals

Indonesian U15 men's singles badminton player Revie Israel Lumoindong advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2026 Jaya Raya Junior International Grand Prix after a dominant performance in the round of 16 at the PB Jaya Raya Sports Hall, Bintaro, South Tangerang.

Facing Thailand's Patsakorn Watcharapraphaiphan, Revie won two straight games 21-11, 21-18 in a 24-minute match.

"I played better than yesterday and started to feel more at ease anticipating my opponent's pressure," Revie said after the match.

Revie admitted that he was able to adapt much better to the characteristics of the pitch in this match.

He compared his own performance to the round of 32 match on Tuesday (7/7), when he was still feeling his way around the nature of the pitch where the tournament was held.

In the round of 32, Revie defeated Singaporean representative Jung Yang Ong and won with an identical score of 21-5, 21-5, in 21 minutes.

The victory over Patsakorn means Revie will meet fellow Indonesian men's singles player Max Lewis Chandra in the next round.

Max advanced after defeating Malaysian representative Tieh Sam in a fierce 47-minute match with a final score of 21-17, 15-21, 21-8.

Revie said he did not set a specific target for the 2026 JIGP Jaya Raya Development. He only aimed to play as well as possible in every match he played.
