He stressed that Egyptian ports and territorial waters must not be turned into an arena for settling scores or exchanging messages between parties to regional conflicts, and that Egypt has the full right to protect its land, airspace, territorial waters and vital facilities.

The party stressed its rejection of any attempts to drag Egypt into the circle of conflict or to lure it into confrontations that serve other agendas, stressing that good crisis management and situation assessment represent one of the elements of the strength of the Egyptian state. It also called on the media and social media users to be accurate and rely on official data, reiterating its confidence in the ability of state institutions to complete investigations and take the necessary measures to protect the security of the homeland.
