Samba Persada Women defender Keisya Aulia believes her team's efforts were worthwhile despite failing to advance to the semifinals of the U18 category of the 2025/2026 Hydroplus Soccer League (HSL) All-Stars.
Samba Persada's progress was halted after losing 0-2 against Persib Bandung Academy in the final Group B match at Supersoccer Arena, Kudus, Central Java, Friday, after they had to finish the match with 10 men due to a red card received by a teammate.
"We were able to hold on until we only conceded two goals, so I think it's still a source of pride that we were able to keep our opponents from scoring more goals," Keisya said after the match.
He explained that this condition was a big challenge that affected the balance of the team's game.
Because, losing one player greatly affects the rhythm of the game, starting from positioning to communication between players on the field.
However, all the players continued to try to perform optimally until the final whistle was blown.
