Team Vitality secured their place in the semifinals of the MLBB Women's Invitational at the 2026 Esports World Cup in Paris, France, after defeating fellow Indonesian team Team Falcons ID in the quarterfinals or Knockout Stage.
Team Vitality player Cindy "Cinny" Laurent Siswanto admitted she regretted facing an Indonesian team in the quarterfinals. She believes the two teams should have had a chance to meet in the final.
This result ensures that one Indonesian representative remains in the tournament, but also ends the struggle of Falcons ID, who previously qualified for the knockout phase via the lower bracket.
Falcons ID put up a fierce fight from the first game on. They dominated the match several times and nearly secured victory before Team Vitality managed to turn things around in the late game.
