Team Vitality kicked off their bid to defend their MLBB Women's International 2026 title by defeating Brazilian team MIBR.LOS 2-0 in their opening Group B match at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 in Paris.
The defending champion team, strengthened by Viorelle "Vival" Valencia Chen, Venny "Fumi Eko" Lim, Cindy "Cinny" Laurent Siswanto, Michelle "Chell" Denise Siswanto, and Vivi "Vivian" Indrawaty, immediately took control of the game in the first game.
"We were in control early on, but a few things caused us to lose focus. Luckily, we were still able to win the game we played," said Team Vitality captain Vivian.
Team Vitality played aggressively from the start, securing two turtles and one lord, before closing the match in about 12 minutes without giving MIBR.LOS a chance to control any important objectives.
