The Idemitsu Yamaha Sunday Race at the Mandalika Circuit in West Nusa Tenggara Province will support the development of young Indonesian racers.
"This event is one of the efforts to support the development and coaching of young Indonesian racers," said Motorsport Manager of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing Wahyu Rusmayadi in Mandalika.
He said that in addition to being attended by Indonesian national racers, this racing event also featured racers from Asia Pacific such as Thailand, Malaysia, China, Australia and Japan.
"Meanwhile, the number of racers at the event reached 298 racers, 80 percent of whom were Indonesian racers and 20 percent were international racers," he said.
He said that this event is not just entertainment, but this event is expected to support the promotion of tourism development and sports tourism.
"This event has also produced high-achieving racers," he said.
