The Algerian Chief of Staff congratulates the army on Independence Day and urges the thwarting of hostile plots, both covert and overt

The Chief of Staff of the Algerian People’s National Army, Said Chengriha, congratulated all members of the Algerian army on the occasion of the sixty-fourth anniversary of Independence Day and the restoration of national sovereignty.

In his address during the 64th anniversary celebration of Algeria's independence, he praised the positive results achieved by the military units on the ground, both in combating terrorism and in addressing organized crime, arms and drug trafficking, illegal immigration, and other scourges along the land and sea borders.

He urged the forces to continue working tirelessly to strengthen security and stability in the country and to "thwart the hostile plots hatched against the country, both secretly and openly," emphasizing Algeria's continued progress on its path of development under the leadership of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in fulfillment of the liberation revolution and the sacrifices of the martyrs.
