A statue of one of American football's greatest players, Dan Marino, became a popular photo object for fans who were at Miami Stadium, United States, to watch the 2026 World Cup quarter-final match between Norway and England.

Supporters take selfies in front of the statue located at the south entrance of the 64,478-capacity stadium.

They are even willing to queue, waiting for others to finish collecting their documentation.

The Dan Marino statue is one of the icons of Miami Stadium, along with another statue, Don Shula, which is located at the east gate.

Dan Marino is the greatest player of all time from the Miami Dolphins club, an NFL team based at Miami Stadium.
