Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid announced the results of the selection of users of the 700 MHz and 2.6 GHz radio frequency bands for the purposes of implementing cellular mobile networks in 2026.
"We are reviewing the legal, governance, and administrative aspects. Everything is complete, and we can now announce the completion of all stages of the 700 MHz and 2.6 GHz radio frequency band auctions in July 2026," he said at a press conference.
Meutya stated that the selection process for users of the 700 MHz and 2.6 GHz radio frequency bands began in April 2026.
The Ministry of Communication and Digital on July 10, 2026 announced the winners of the selection and gave time until July 14, 2026 for parties who wish to submit objections regarding the selection results.
Because until the objection period ended, the selection team did not receive any objections in any form from the participants, the list of selection winners was then ratified.
The Minister of Communication and Digital stated that all stages of the selection process for radio frequency band users were carried out by considering aspects such as transparency and accountability to the public.
Based on the results of the selection of users of the 700 MHz or low-band radio frequency band , PT XLSmart Telecom Sejahtera Tbk obtained a bandwidth allocation of 30 MHz, PT Telekomunikasi Selular obtained a bandwidth allocation of 20 MHz, and PT Indosat Tbk obtained a bandwidth allocation of 20 MHz.
In the selection of users of the 2.6 GHz radio frequency band or mid-band , PT Telekomunikasi Selular obtained a bandwidth allocation of 80 MHz, PT Indosat Tbk obtained a bandwidth allocation of 60 MHz, PT XLSmart Telecom Sejahtera Tbk obtained a bandwidth allocation of 50 MHz.
