Three Palestinians were killed and 20 others were injured on Wednesday as a result of airstrikes and gunfire by the Israeli army in the northern and southern Gaza Strip.
This comes amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect in the Gaza Strip since October 10, 2025.
In the southern Gaza Strip, a medical source at Nasser Hospital reported the arrival of the bodies of two Palestinians and 16 wounded, including children, following an Israeli drone strike that targeted passersby in the Al-Majayda area of Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis city.
The source also reported that a young man sustained moderate injuries as a result of gunfire from the Israeli army in the Rafah garage area in the center of Khan Yunis city.
Earlier, Israeli artillery fired a number of shells towards the east of the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis, without any reports of casualties or injuries.
In the northern Gaza Strip, a Palestinian was killed and others were injured in varying degrees after an Israeli drone strike targeted a number of passersby in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, according to a medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital.
Later on Wednesday evening, seven Palestinians were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential building belonging to the Shamia family south of the Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City, after a prior warning to evacuate the residential block.
Local sources and eyewitnesses said that Israeli fighter jets launched two raids on the building, which led to its complete destruction and caused extensive damage to dozens of neighboring houses and buildings, in addition to a fire breaking out in the area, which civil defense crews worked to extinguish.
The sources added that the bombing came after a resident received a call from Israeli intelligence demanding that he evacuate the area, which caused a state of fear and panic among the residents who left their homes.
Despite the ceasefire agreement being in effect since October 10, 2025, Israel continues its daily attacks on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 1,209 Palestinians and the injury of 3,943 others, most of whom are children and women, in addition to the continued widespread destruction.
With American support, Israel began on October 8, 2023, a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom of more than 73,000 Palestinians and the injury of more than 174,000, most of them children and women, as well as the destruction of about 90 percent of the infrastructure.
