The Ukrainian National Olympic Committee has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) the decision of the International Olympic Committee's Executive Board regarding the provisional restoration of the Russian Olympic Committee's rights, according to an announcement by the organization on its website.
The Ukrainian side demanded that the International Olympic Committee’s decision be cancelled, arguing that it contradicts the provisions of the Olympic Charter.
