Press reports have revealed that Egyptian international star Mohamed Salah is close to joining another European club after negotiations with Turkish club Besiktas stalled.

Several Turkish press reports in recent days have discussed Mohamed Salah's potential move to Turkish club Besiktas after his departure from Liverpool last June.

The transfer of Mohamed Salah to Turkish club Besiktas has been stalled so far due to the financial demands of Ramy Abbas, the agent of the Egyptian national team captain.

Journalist Santi Ona said that Turkish club Trabzonspor is very close to snatching the deal to sign Egyptian star Mohamed Salah.

He reported that the Turkish club was close to reaching a final agreement with the player after entering into advanced negotiations with his agent, Ramy Abbas.

Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu revealed that the offer from Turkish club Trabzonspor is a two-year contract with a salary of 17 million euros.

It is worth mentioning that Mohamed Salah ended his journey with Liverpool at the end of last season, after a journey that lasted nine seasons during which he achieved many individual and collective titles and achievements.

The name of the Egyptian national team captain has been linked recently to several clubs, including Besiktas, in addition to interest from Saudi league clubs, most notably Al-Ittihad.
