PSIM Yogyakarta manager Iksan Mahar explained that his team is continuing to refine its tactics during the preseason ahead of the 2026/2027 season.
Quoted from the club's official website, Wednesday, Iksan explained that this was done when PSIM Yogyakarta held trial matches against several teams.
The latest trial match held by PSIM Yogyakarta was when they faced Persekabpas Pasuruan Regency at the Mandala Krida Stadium.
"Overall, since the beginning of the trial, our goal has not been to achieve results, but rather to improve the team tactically, technically, and physically," Iksan explained.
He added that this practice match was an opportunity to develop tactics and evaluate the team's performance ahead of the new season's competition.
