RANS Entertainment Chief Executive Officer Nagita Slavina has opened up the possibility of airing the 2026/27 Indonesian Women's League after currently airing the international women's football tournament, the Srikandi Merdeka Cup 2026.
"Hopefully, there will be more events at RANS Entertainment in the future. Please pray for us. One of them is the Women's League. Please pray for its smooth running," said Nagita at a press conference at the I.League Office.
Nagita admitted she was open to this opportunity after being impressed by the public's enthusiasm for the 2026 Srikandi Merdeka Cup inter-country women's soccer tournament, which has now entered the semifinals.
Played in Kudus, Central Java, the semifinal round of this U16 tournament will feature matches between Indonesian representatives Garuda Pertiwi against Jordan and Thailand against Malaysia.
The two semifinal matches will take place at the Supersoccer Arena in Kudus Regency, Central Java. The semifinal winners will advance to the final, scheduled.
Meanwhile, PSSI Executive Committee member Vivin Cahyani confirmed that communications with RANS Entertainment are moving in a positive direction. However, both parties are currently still in discussions ahead of the competition's kick-off on October 17.
