Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario has been loaned to Juventus for the 2026/2027 season, specifically until June 30, 2027.
Juventus also stated that the loan of the Italian goalkeeper comes with an option to make the transfer permanent for 8 million euros, payable over three years.
However, this value can increase by a maximum of two million euros if it is carried out during the player's contract period and certain targets are achieved, which were not stated by the two clubs.
Vicario is a footballer who grew up in the youth team of Udinese, a team based in his hometown of Udine.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper made his professional debut in 2017 while wearing the Venezia uniform.
The career of the man who is also the goalkeeper for the Italian national team starting in 2024 continues to improve.
He played for several Italian teams, including Cagliari, Perugia, and Empoli. Before joining Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, Vicario was a member of Empoli.
At Spurs, Vicario was part of the team's success in winning the 2024/2025 Europa League trophy.
During his time at Juventus, Vicario will compete with goalkeepers such as Michele Di Gregorio, Mattia Perin and Carlo Pinsoglio.
