Switzerland announced that, starting tomorrow, Thursday, it will stop granting protection to Ukrainian refugees wanted for compulsory military service in Zelensky's army, in a move similar to the European Union's decision.
Switzerland follows Brussels and lifts protection for Ukrainians wanted for military service in their country.
The Swiss government announced that its new decision to impose restrictions on asylum for Ukrainians applies to applications submitted from August 20th onwards and does not include those who have already been granted status, stressing that coordinating its policy with the European Union is in its national interest, while extending the S protection status for current refugees until March 4, 2028.
It is worth noting that on August 5, the European Union approved the refusal to grant asylum to Ukrainian men required for military service, based on Kyiv's request, at a time when statistics indicate that there are 4.3 million Ukrainian refugees in Europe, including one million men of service age.
The S protection scheme provides accommodation, work and education for more than 73,000 beneficiaries in Switzerland, while the Kyiv regime faces a severe shortage of personnel due to its heavy human losses in its losing confrontation with Russia, amid widespread controversy over violent forced recruitment, which drives men to flee, go into hiding or burn down recruitment offices.
