The future of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has taken center stage in the summer transfer market after Turkish press reports linked him with a move to Trabzonspor for the new season.
In the past few hours, reports have emerged of significant progress in negotiations, with a contract being sent to the player's representatives and official statements from the president of Trabzonspor confirming that a final agreement is close so far.
According to the Turkish website "Fanatik", the management of Trabzonspor club sent the contract with Mohamed Salah to his agent Ramy Abbas after everything was agreed upon.
It was reported that the administration will meet today, Tuesday, to prepare a historic reception for the Egyptian star, the travel plan, and all arrangements related to the contract deal with the captain of the Egyptian national team as soon as the contracts are signed.
The website described Mohamed Salah's move to Trabzonspor as the deal of the century for the Turkish club, as the player will receive a salary of 17 million euros per year in addition to bonuses, with a two-season contract.
He explained that Trabzonspor has the support of sponsoring companies in the matter of signing Mohamed Salah, as these companies will be responsible for financing a large part of the deal.
Salah was close to moving to Turkish club Besiktas before negotiations between the two parties stalled recently due to a disagreement over the financial compensation.
