Chinese technology company Xiaomi is said to have received EEC certification for two of its next-generation flagship mobile phones, the Xiaomi 18 and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.
This news is a sign that Xiaomi may be treating this series differently from its predecessors because global variants for these phones may not take long to arrive in the market.
Xiaomi is expected to be the first brand to launch a flagship phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset , with the phone lineup likely consisting of the Xiaomi 18, Xiaomi 18 Pro, and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.
Referring to the release pattern of previous generations, Xiaomi's flagship phones are usually launched first in the Chinese market in September and then the global launch will occur in the first quarter of the following year.
