Meeting police from 43 countries Indonesian policewomen are encouraged to move up a class

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo encouraged Indonesian policewomen  to improve their capacity and competence to become more competitive at the international level.
We hope that the capabilities and capacity of Indonesian policewomen will continue to improve, enabling them to compete internationally, and to exchange knowledge and experience with policewomen from various countries.

This was conveyed by the National Police Chief at the opening of the International Association of Women Police  2026 in Bali, which was attended by representatives from 43 countries.

According to him, the international forum is a momentum for female police officers from various countries to exchange information, knowledge and experience.

The Chief of Police hopes that the participation of Indonesian policewomen in the forum can be used to broaden their horizons and absorb knowledge and experience from policewomen from other countries.

He also hopes that the forum can increase the enthusiasm, capacity, and competence of Indonesian policewomen, including in supporting career development.

According to Listyo, this effort is in line with the IAWP President's view on the importance of gender equality and the development of the roles and careers of female police officers.

With this capacity increase, he hopes that Indonesian policewomen will continue to demonstrate professionalism and competence so that they can be on par with policewomen from other countries.

The National Police Chief also expressed his appreciation to all parties who supported the implementation of IAWP 2026 and hoped that the activity would provide tangible benefits for increasing the capacity and professionalism of female police officers.
