The end of the match between the Kuwaiti and Iraqi national teams on Friday evening in the second round of the Gulf Cup football tournament "Gulf 27" witnessed a fight between the players of both sides.

A video clip circulated on social media showing a confrontation between the players of the two national teams after the final whistle. Kuwaiti Yousef Nasser and his Iraqi rival Zaidan Iqbal were seen exchanging words outside the green rectangle.
At that time, players from both teams intervened and the matter quickly turned into a scuffle and pushing, before the dispute was resolved and they were separated from each other.
Zidane Iqbal didn't just provoke the Kuwaiti fans on the pitch; after the match, he posted a video of his goal celebration in their net.
Another video clip has also circulated showing Iraqi national team striker Ayman Hussein intervening to reconcile his compatriot Zaidan Iqbal and Youssef Nasser, and the pair hugged and talked together inside the locker room.
