Today’s competitions come after the fighters completed their preparations, following yesterday’s press conference and weigh-in, which saw the participants confirm their readiness to face the decisive battles, on a night expected to witness strong competition between a number of the most prominent Arab names in mixed martial arts.
All eyes in the main event are on the fight between Saudi Mustafa Al-Neda and Egyptian Osama Al-Saidi, a confrontation with special dimensions, after the sporting challenge between them extended for about 10 years.
Al-Nida stressed that the confrontation represents an opportunity to prove his abilities against his opponent, noting his great respect for Al-Saidi, while the latter sees the fight as an opportunity to end years of sporting challenge between the two sides and secure a ticket to the final.
In the second match, Jordanian Hazem Al-Kayali will meet Moroccan Badr Al-Din Al-Diani, in a fight in which each side will seek to secure a ticket to the final match and compete for the championship title.
The evening will also feature two exhibition matches, the first bringing together Saudi Arabia’s Fatima Al-Ammari and Algeria’s Aya Lounis, while Saudi Arabia’s Al-Redha Al-Nimr will meet Bahrain’s Ahmed Al-Shuwaikh.
