The digitalization of Perlinsos services has received a positive response from the public

Acting Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Farida Dewi Maharani, stated that digitalization in the implementation of social protection services  has received a positive response from the public.

Based on our monitoring, around 70 to 80 percent of respondents showed interest and positive acceptance of this service.

"In general, the public response has been positive, and they feel helped by the digitalization of social protection," Dewi said.

The implementation of the digital Perlinsos system can reduce bureaucracy in administering government social assistance programs for citizens in need.

This digital system allows citizens to access services without having to queue, go through lengthy processes, and incur transportation costs.

"Interestingly, more and more people are starting to become curious and want to try Perlinsos. This demonstrates the need for more accessible and transparent social protection services," Dewi said.

Dewi stated that the Government Digital Transformation Acceleration Committee  conducted a field inspection to ensure the digital social protection system was functioning properly as service users increased.
Minor obstacles encountered during field reviews were immediately followed up with improvements and refinements to the application's features.Digitalization in the provision of Perlinsos services is expected to not only shift record-keeping from paper to electronic devices, but also serve as the foundation for an efficient and targeted national social protection system.

"The most important thing is to target social assistance recipients more precisely. From there, the government can build the foundation for a more accurate and efficient social protection system going forward," Dewi said.
