China-Russia joint military exercise: Who is the target of the big question?  More than 10 thousand soldiers will take part

 The joint exercise of the armies of China and Russia will start from next Monday in the Ningxia Huz Autonomous Region of China.  Military analysts here say that in this joint exercise, the focus will be on counter-terrorism and security.  The US or allies are not its target.  More than 10 thousand soldiers will participate in this five-day long exercise.  It has been named Japad (mutual interaction) - 2021.

 Zhou Chenming, a researcher at China's Yuan Wang Military Science and Technology University, told the Hong Kong newspaper South China Morning Post that this joint military exercise will focus on stability in Central Asia.  The reason for this is that after living in Afghanistan for 20 years, now American and NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) soldiers are going back from there.  Zhou said the US and other Western countries are concerned about the missile power of Russia and China.  But this exercise is of the Army.

 Zhou noted that there has been no exchange between the missile-operating forces of Russia and China so far.  Nor has there been a common practice between them.  The two countries have not even exchanged their defense intelligence.  Significantly, Chinese media has reported that Russia has sent five of its Su-30 fighter aircraft for this exercise.  Regarding this, Zhau said that these are not the most modern aircraft.  They will have no chief in the war.

 But this joint exercise is taking place at a time when tensions in US relations with China and Russia have increased significantly.  That's why analysts are not fully trusting China's claim.  Experts say that the Chinese army will benefit greatly from this joint exercise.  According to Lu Li-shih, who was an instructor at the Naval Academy in Taiwan, the Russian army has more combat experience.  According to him, there is a lot of similarity between the Chinese and Russian military in matters of weapon design, war strategy and strategy etc.  These two countries are different from western countries in all these respects.  He said that it is possible that Russia will share with China the experience of drone warfare gained during the recent wars in Azerbaijan and Armenia.
