The frequency of “very worrying” infection in Europe a “revolutionary treatment” in Britain, and experts announce the date of controlling Corona globally
Medical experts confirmed that they expect the world to be able to control the Corona virus “Covid-19” by the end of 2022, while the United Kingdom announced its approval of a “revolutionary treatment” for Corona, amid warnings of the pace of transmission of the virus in Europe.
And Reuters news agency quoted a study of 10 experts in the field of infectious diseases that countries will emerge from the pandemic thanks to the combination of a broad level of vaccination and the spread of natural immunity among people who have contracted the virus.
According to the study, the United States, Portugal, the United Kingdom and India are expected to be the first countries to emerge from the Corona crisis.
The study expected a slight increase in the spread of the virus during the winter, to decline during the month of April.
But experts warned against some countries rushing to lift precautionary measures, especially in light of the emergence of new mutants of the virus, and they expected the virus to cause disease and death in the coming years, but like many other endemic diseases, such as malaria.
In another remarkable development, the United Kingdom announced today, Thursday, that it has become the first country in the world to approve the anti-Corona drug “molnopiravir”, produced by the American “Merck” laboratories.
British Health Minister Sajid Javid said in a statement, "It is a historic day for our country because the United Kingdom has become the first country in the world to approve an antiviral that can be taken at home for treatment of Covid-19."
"This will change the situation of vulnerable individuals and those with immunodeficiency, so that they will soon be able to use this revolutionary treatment," he stressed.

very disturbing
Despite the optimism of these forecasts, the World Health Organization still warns of the rate of transmission of the Corona virus infection in Europe, describing it as very worrying.
The organization added that this pace may lead to raising the number of deaths in Europe due to the virus to half a million by next February.
The WHO Regional Director for Europe, Hans Kluge, described the European continent as once again becoming the epicenter of the pandemic.
The organization attributed the high infections to insufficient vaccination coverage and the easing of measures to combat the virus.
And the number of daily injuries recorded an increase for 6 consecutive weeks in Europe in the number of daily deaths, with about 250 thousand injuries and 3600 deaths daily, according to the statistics of the French Press Agency.
The new rise is recorded, especially in Russia (8162 deaths in the last 7 days), Ukraine (3819 deaths) and Romania (3100 deaths).
Germany and China
For its part, Germany recorded today, Thursday, the highest increase in the daily number of injuries since the emergence of the epidemic, according to figures issued by the "Robert Koch Institute".
And the German Health Institute reported that the country recorded 33,949 new infections during the past 24 hours, a number that exceeds the last record daily toll recorded on December 18, 2020, and it amounted to 33,777 cases.
Ministers blamed this on the relatively low vaccination rate in the country, as official figures show that only 66.9 percent of the population had received full doses of vaccines as of Thursday.
Health workers point out that the majority of patients in intensive care units are unvaccinated people, while their numbers are rising rapidly.
In China, the health authorities announced today, Thursday, that 104 new confirmed cases of the virus were recorded, compared to 109 the previous day.
